FOOD BANK AID – SCHOOL’S OUT, FOOD’S OUT SUMMER CAMPAIGN

About Food Bank Aid

Food Bank Aid are a fantastic charity started at the beginning of the pandemic by Naomi Russel and Jo Rosenblatt. From initially operating from Naomi’s garage to try and collect and distribute food locally to those in need it soon became apparent that there was a greater need as more and more people were slipping into food insecurity and subsequently food poverty.

Now operating out from a food hub in North London that supplies food to 15-20 food banks helping over 10,000 people per week aided by a wonderful band of volunteers.

The Campaign

We were very pleased to be assist a wonderful initiative set up by Food Bank Aid, with their School’s Out, Food’s Out campaign to ensure that 3500 + children receive sufficient food during the difficult Summer holidays when food donations tend to diminish as families go on holiday and have additional financial strains that limit the amount of food and monies they can donate.
