The Lunch Club is a charity that aims to provide freshly cooked lunches to people in need in Streatham, South London, and the surrounding area.

They are a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping anyone who may be struggling to afford or prepare their own meals by providing healthy, freshly cooked lunches from surplus and, some, purchased food.

The goal of The Lunch Club is to create a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment that serves as a social gathering where people can come together to connect, share stories and build relationships. They believe that no one should have to eat alone or feel isolated, and the Lunch Club provides an opportunity to combat both hunger and loneliness.

They are a new charity looking to make a big difference to our local community.

As with some other organisations as well as volunteering we were really happy to be able to donate some money for them to purchase essential ingredients to help keep their pantry well stocked up and hopefully relieve some of the pressure when they are preparing their nutritious meals over the coming months.
