Magic Breakfast

The Magic Breakfast‘s mission is simple yet so crucial to the future of so many ‘To end morning hunger as a barrier to learning for children and young people in the UK.’ It is so well documented as well as, in reality, being fairly obvious how much of a correlation there is between a child’s ability to learn and how hungry they are. The solution to that particular problem is a simple one – give them enough, nutritious food to ensure that they at least are at their best to absorb what is being taught to them. We know there are many other factors that affect the ability to learn too but The Magic Breakfast are doing all they can to help tackle this.

The Funding

As part of The Childhood Trust’s fantastic match funding campaign at the end of the last year, the Magic Breakfast reached significant funding from their supporters which was generously matched by The Childhood Trust. We were  so pleased to be able to be part of that funding and look forward to seeing first hand the happy scholars tucking in to their nutritious breakfasts before settling down to their school day.
