The Satwikam Food Project
Founded in 2018 The Satwikam Food project is doing brilliant work in feeding people in the Delhi Region who are struggling to get two meals per day. They cook and distribute wholesome food at various locations throughout the capital and try to ensure the most vulnerable, women and children, are cared for.
The Jansen Foundation is pleased to be able to offer some support by supplying regular quantities of rice to them at a time when funding is difficult and we know that this food will go straight to the mouths of those people who need it most.
So far they have distributed well in excess of 250,000 meals
In addition they are acutely away that hygiene is as important too and try to provide soaps, detergents, toothpaste etc where possible and where funding permits.
