We all hear news from the large organisations but there are thousands of small local initiatives offering just as important work within their communities. So it is great to hear that The Larder in Coatbridge, Scotland is the inaugural winner of the Spirit of Our Community Award for their efforts to tackle food poverty and have received a much needed cash reward. ISLINGTON FOOD WEEK
Islington, North London is hosting its first ever Food Week with the aim of highlighting issues around food waste, food insecurity and much more. With 20 events on offer between the 6th – 12th March there will surely be something of interest to everyone.
